The reward is the benefits of hitting 99 haha. The cape is only a bonus in my opinion.

I want them, just, without all the discussion, it's in my memories admiring 99's but I don't remember defenders or torso and not a skillcape being common. I just hope we get what's best for the clan and game.

Exactly. If I can recall correctly. I barely remember skill capes in 2006.

I personally don't wan't them in 2006Scape but however if they do decide to put them in it wont bother me at all and wont change how i personally play the game.

That would have the exact same effect as skillcapes would, people would just grind for the emotes.

Skill capes were a really cool idea, just not in 2006.

I love skillcapes, and would love to see them in the game. It wouldn't detract from the 2006 feel to me just because there are skillcapes in the game. Razz

The current rs is too competitive, in 2006 people enjoyed the game. A 99 was a personal achievement.

It is WAY to competitive, and Jagex keeps making all skills afkable.

I really hope that skill capes will be added into 2006Scape. If it isn't, I will be upset about it but life does move on. It won't be a big bummer, but skill capes are something that are cherished by us, skillers. It is one of our few and only achievement capes that we can wear. I love the emotes too!
