If any of you guys will be level 3 (im sure some of you are) and your going to be mining or fishing at Al-Kharid and be killed by those annoying scorpions I will be training combat as well as skills and am willing to provide protection against aggressive creatures. For a small price but usually for free Smile When I become slightly more advanced as you do and need protection in the wilderness for those wealth-bringing rune ores then I will risk my stuff to stand by you! This is available for all combat levels. (For example level 7-8 skillers that do prayer) I know that Trail is after those runite ores but I'm not sure of his plan on combat. If any of you wish to be protected post below. (Available in Pre-Alpha)

I will be going for rune ore as well. The chance of getting 85 mining in pre-alpha is pretty slim depending on how long it lasts.

Well if the exp rate truly will be 10x during pre-alpha as people have said, getting 85 mining will definitely be achievable during pre-alpha.

I will most likely train combat even when alpha is released, but of course I will be making everything. Catching/cooking food, fletching arrows

Guys don't worry, this is only for pre-alpha. No exp and items gained from pre-alpha will move over to once it is over. The exp rate will drop down from then. the exp will be much higher during pre-alpha just so people can get higher levels quicker for bug searching purposes. Keep in mind that the purpose of pre-alpha is for bug searching.

I know that some people have planned to play the game normally during pre-alpha and will report bugs along the way, which is definitely a good idea.

Don't worry, it should be just like RS was in 2006 once we get out of pre-alpha. I badly want everything to be the same as well, but we will just have to wait. Smile Also Thefty, you won't be here for the first 6 weeks of pre-alpha so once you get back, you won't have as long of a wait.

Ya, I wish I could to, but Ik I'm going to end up having work that day starting at the same time >.< unless they end up releasing pre-alpha sooner than the countdown says.

The point of pre-alpha isn't really to re-live your long lost experiences, it's to find bugs and fix them. The faster we can train, the faster we'll be able to find all the bugs with all the different scenarios.

Yes everyone, remember that they will be reseting stats at the end of pre-alpha so don't go for HUGE goals, just play to play and find bugs. Remember to always report what you find!
