The little lightning should be more flash when theyre someting new because sometimes I dont see them.

The icon turns from a wind strike icon to a [green] earth strike icon when there is a new post. This is how it works, I do not understand your suggestion.

It is barely noticable. It's the same icon, but green inside. It should be a bit more .. flashy

Yeah but it should be green as the bubble on each sub forum

The bubbles are normal for the forum, the 'lightning' is custom entered. It's not that big of a deal since there some activity on all sections.
