The Ultimate RS2006 Guide To The Between A Rock... Quest.

When was it released?: 21 March 2005

Is it members only?: Yes

Where can i start it?: Keldagrim mines

How long should it take?: 2 Hours

Requirements:
Quests: Dwarf Cannon, Fishing Contest
Some coins
30 Defence
40 Mining
50 Smithing
Ammo Mould
Hammer
4 Gold bars
Pickaxe

Starting off

First off, make your way to the Keldagrim Mines located northeast of the mining site found east of Rellekka and go inside. Go through the small Cave Entrance on the east wall, and then speak to the Dwarven Ferryman. Ask him for a ride and pay 2gp to get across the river. Cross the bridge to the east and head to the room in the northwest corner of the cave. Now talk to Dondakan the Dwarf, and ask him why he's firing cannonballs against the wall. He says that the rock is impenetrable, so tell him that you'll try and help him. He wants you to get information about the rock.

Go back to where the boats are, and talk to the Dwarven Boatman, who will take you to Keldagrim. When there, talk to the Librarian, who is situated funnily enough in the Library. he will direct you to Wemund's Wrench Warehouse, where inside, the Dwarven Engineer will tell you to go speak to Rolad, who lives above the Dwarven Mine.

The book

The Dwarven Mine is located south of the Ice Mountain. When you get there, you shouldn't have too much trouble locating Rolad, as there isn't many houses there. When asked, he will mention a book that may be able to help you, but there a few pages missing, and you need to find them. The first page is obtained by killing Scorpions, although you may have to kill few to get one. The second can be obtained by searching mine carts, and the final by mining rocks (drop any ores you get to leave up space for later). give the pages to Rolad, who will give you the Dwarven Lore book. If you don't already have an Ammou Mould, you can buy one here for 5gp.

Golden Wonder

Go back to Dondakan and ask him how he's doing. So far, he's had no success. Make a Gold Cannonball at a furnace with one gold bar and the ammo mould, and give it to him. It works, and now Dondakan will want you to make a Gold Helmet, which needs 3 bars. Once you have made it, go back to him. He will try to fire the cannonball through the wall, but it fails, so he needs some schematics to fire you through the wall. For the first schematic, ask the Dwarven Engineer and he will give it to you. The second can be found be re-reading the Dwarven Lore back, and the last by giving a Dwarven Stout to Khorvak, underneath White Wolf Mountain.

Once you have the schematics, you will need to assemble them, as so:
1st: Use the arrows to make the person's body line up with the shape in the Base Set.
2nd: Uncheck Schematic 1 and check off Schematic 2. Align the shapes at the top of the diagram with the ones on the base. You may need to rotate this one to complete it.
3rd: Uncheck Schematic 2 and check off Schematic 3. Just match the legs of the person up with the ones on the Base Set and you should receive a message saying that they are complete.

Arzinian

Make sure you have some food in your inventory, but keep 15 free slots, as you will need these for later. Give the schematic to Dondakan, and then he will fire you into the wall. You will end up on the other side. Mine 15 gold ore here, as this will make the final battle easier. When you have them, Go through the Wall of Flame, then talk to the flames. Arzinian will appear, and if you mined 15 gold ore, he will only be level 75, whereas if you didn't, he would be level 125.

When you have defeated Arzinian, you will be teleported out, and Dondakan will thank you. Quest complete!

How long should it take?: 30 minutes

Requirements:
30 Cooking
30 Ranged
5 Fletching
100 feathers
Chisel
Knife
5 Wolf bones

Starting off

You can start off by talking to Rantz in the Feldip Hills, south of Kandarin. He needs you to make some Ogre Arrows,a nd for that you will need to cut down some Alchey Trees, which are located in the area around Rantz. Once you have the logs, cut them into Ogre Arrow Shafts, and use the feathers with them. Use your chisel on the Wolf bones, and add the arrow tips to the Shafts. Go back to Rantz and give him the arrows. Unfortunately, he can't get the Chompies.

Bellows

Go north to Rantz's cave, and open the chest in it. Inside the chest you will find some Ogre Bellows. Exit the cave, and go south west until you reach the swamp. Use the Bellows on the Swamp bubbles until you have Ogre Bellows (3). Use these Bellows on the Swamp Toads scattered around the place, and you will get bloated toads. The Ultimate RS2006 Guide To The Biohazard Quest.

When was it released?: 23 October 2002

Is it members only?: Yes

Where can i start it?: Elena in East Ardougne

How long should it take?: 1-2 Hours

Requirements:
Quests: Plague City
Rope
Priest Robes set

Starting off

To start off, talk to Elena in East Ardougne. Her house is north-west of the furnace, and west of the bank. She will guide you to Jericho, who's house is located south of the bank which was mentioned earlier, and is marked on the map by a water symbol. Sfter you've talked to him, search his cupboard for some Bird Feed. After you have taken the Bird Feed, go behind his house, and take the pidgeon cage. Go to the wall seperating the east from the west, and go south until you reach Omart. He will tell you about talking to Jericho about skipping the guards, but as he will tell you he's busy, you can simply skip this part.

The Watchtower

Go north of Omart to the watchtower, and use the Bird Feed on the fence. Then, open the pidgeon cage, which will release the birds and distract the guards. Go back and speak to Omart, who will help you get over the wall. Go north and pick up the apple between the two houses (the houses are just south of the north wall). Go to the east and go through the fence. You should end up at, or near, a cauldron. Use the apple on the cauldron (make sure to use, not eat, as eat is the left-click option). Try to enter the building, but you will not be allowed in, as all of the people in there are sick.

Doctor

Head south-west until you get to the Nurse's home. Search the box in her room to find a gown. Put that on, then head back to the monastery. Now you have the gown on, they will let you in, as they think you will heal them. However, you will do exactly the opposite. Go upstairs, and kill the mourner to get a key. Use it on the gate, and search the crates until you find the Distillator. Go back to where you entered West Ardougne, and Kilron will help you over the fence. Go back to Elena, and she will give you some samples. She needs you to get some special paper from the chemist in Rimmington. You cannot teleport or engage in battle whilst you have the samples, or else they will be destroyed.

Samples

When you get to the chemist, talk to them about the paper. Afterwards, you will need to give them the samples in a certain order:
Give the Liquid Honey to Chancy
Give the Sulphuric Broline to Hops
Give the Ethanea to Davinci

You will need to go to the Dancing Donkey Inn located in Varrock. Remember, you cannot fight or teleport if you have the plague sample with you. Put on the preist robes you previousy obtained, and talk to the men. They will give you back your samples. Head over to the building next to the inn and talk to the man there. Luckily, it turns out that there is no plague, so head back to Elena and tell her the good news. You will have to go see the King of Ardougne.

Talk to the King, and he will give you your reward. Quest complete!

The Ultimate RS2006 Guide To The Black Knights' Fortress Quest.

When was it released?: April 6th 2001

Is it members only?: No

Where can i start it?: Talk to Sir Varze in the White Knights' Castle in Falador.

How long should it take?: Around 10-15 minutes

Requirements: 13 quest points
The ability to evade or kill level 33 Black Knights
A cabbage (not from Draynor Manor)
Iron chainbody
Bronze med helm

It is recommended you bring food if you are combat level 35 or lower.

Starting off

To start off, talk to Sir Varze in the Whie Knights' castle in Falador. He asks you to check out the Black Knights' Fortress, located north of Ice Mountain. He will hand you a "dossier" of information to read. When you are ready, head to the Black Knights' Fortress. The Knights will attack you if you are a low level, watch out.

Once you are at the fortress, you need to equip the Iron chainbody and the Bronze med helm, as this will make you look like a guard. If you have not yet picked a cabbage, then head over to the monastery, and you can pick a cabbage from there.

The fortress

Enter the sturdy door in the middle section of the fortress. Because you look the same as the guards, they will not attack you. Once you are inside, you can change to better armour if you are not sure you will be able to take the Knights' attacks. Once inside, climb up 2 floors to get onto the roof. Go down the ladder to your south. Enter the door directly to your east. You do not have to kill the black knights here. Climb up the ladder in this room, and then climb down the ladder directly next to it.

You should find yourself in a room with an altar. Exit the room and climb down the ladder to the southwest. Go through the pathway, and "listen in" at the ventilation grill. You will overhear the conversation, in which you hear that the Black Knights have hired a witch to brew them an invincibility potion, and you need to stop them.

Making sure you have the cabbage, return to the entrance. Instead of going through the wall this time, go east and try to go through the door. He will tell you there is a very important meeting going on, and that you can't disturb it. Kill the black knight, and enter the banquet room (this is why food is important for lower levels).

Go up the ladder to your north. Go along the hallway and through the wall at the end. You should be in a room that has a large hole in it. Right click on the cabbage (left clicking will eat it) and use it on the hole. Eating it will result in you having to get another cabbage. They cannot be noted. After you have thrown down the cabbage, a cutscene will play and you will have ruined the knights' potion.

Return to Sir Varze and infrom him of your completion of the mission. Quest complete!

The Ultimate RS2006 Guide To The Demon Slayer Quest.

When was it released?: 4 January 2001

Is it members only?: No

Where can i start it?: Gypsy Aris in Varrock Square

How long should it take?: Around 30 minutes

Requirements:
The ability to fight 3 dark wizards and a weak demon
1 coin
25 bones (un-noted)
1 bucket of water

It is recommended you have some form of armour and food.

Starting Off

To start off, talk to Gypsy Aris in her tent in Varrock. Give her one coin and she will predict your future. She says that she forsees Delrith, a demon originally summoned and defeated 150 years ago, coming back. She directs you to Sir Prysin in Varrock Palace for more information. Before you go there, ask the gypsy to tell you how Wally defeated Delrith. A cutscene will play in which Wally has the sword Silverlight and, after attacking the demon, recites an incantation. remember this, as you will need it for later (it is different for everyone).

Sir Prysin

Enter the palace and talk to Sir Prysin who is on the ground floor, in the south western room. Tell him the gypsy sent you, and ask for silverlight. He tells you that he had the sword locked away in a cupboard in that room, and that three keys are needed to open that case. He has given two keys to some of his allies, and you will need to locate these to obtain Silverlight.

First key

The first key is obtained by talking to Captain Rovin who is on the 2nd floor of the palace. from where Sir prysin, head north and up the staircase. Tell him you need the key to get Silverlight, and, after a bit of arguing, the captain will reluctantly give you the key.

Second key

The second key, unfortunately, is stuck in a drain next to the kitchen outside Varrock Palace. You will need to wash the key down into the sewers using the bucket of water. You can easily buy a bucket from the general store, and fill it in any fountain. Once the key is down in the sewers, head west of Varrock Palace where you should see a manhole. Go down the manhole. Head west, and then north until you see a small puddle to your left. Grab the key from the pile of mud, and head back up to the surface.

Third key

For the third and final key, you will need 25 unnoted bones. These can easily be obtained by killing chickens outside farmer freds farm. head over to the Wizard's Tower, and go up one flight of stairs. Talk to Wizard Traiborn about the key, and, after giving him 25 bones, he will perform a ritual to give you the key.

The final fight

Return to Varrock Palace and give the keys to Sir Prysin. He will unlock the case and give you silverlight. if you lose it, he will give you another one. Make sure you know the incantation, and head south of Varrock to the summoning circle. A cutscene will play where 3 wizards and Denath will summon Delrith. After they see you, Denath will run off and the wizards will start to attack you. The first wizard to attack you will be combat level 7, and you have to kill him. if your combat is 40 or lower, you will also have to attack the level 20 wizard, and if it is 14 or lower, then you will have to attack all 3 wizards before Delrith.

Finally, you come to Delrith. He only has 70 HP and has maximum hit of around 30, so most players should have no trouble dealing with him. He cannot be killed with magic or ranged attacks. Once you have defeated him, he will fall to the ground and you must choose the option to "banish" him. Recite the incantation correctly, he will be banished forever. If you get it wrong, Delright will get back up and you will have to defeat him again. You can always go back to Gypsy Aris to get the incantation.

You have banished Delright forever. Quest complete!

The Ultimate RS2006 Guide To The Dragon Slayer Quest.

When was it released?: 23 September 2001

Is it members only?: No

Where can i start it?: The Champion's Guild

How long should it take?: 1-2 Hours

Requirements:
33 Quest points
2000 coins
3 Planks
90 Steel Nails
A hammer
An unfire bowl
A Wizard's mind bomb
Lobster Pot
Silk
10000 coins/1 law rune and 1 air rune (with 33 magic)
Anti-Dragon shield (obtained during quest)

It is recommended you be combat level 40 to do this quest.

Starting off

To start off, ask the Guildmaster in the Champion's Guild for a quest. He will tell you to talk to Oziach in Edgeville (who lives right nest to the Wilderness). Before you can buy a Rune Platebody, Oziach will want you to prove your worth by defeating the legendary dragon, Elvarg. Before setting off on your quest, you will have to go back the Guildmaster to explain what you are doing. He will say you are crazy for attempting to kill Elvarg, but he will tell you about the 3 map pieces and the anti-dragon shield. For the shield, head to Lumbridge Castle and ask Duke Horacio for one. After some surpirse, he will hand it over.

The Goblin thief

For this, you'll need the 10000 coins or 33 magic, 1 law rune and 1 air rune. Head over to Goblin Village, and talk to either of the head Goblins about a special map piece. They will explain that one of the Goblins has it, but unfortunately, he's in jail. Go to the Port Sarim jail and talk to Wormbrain about the map piece, but he'll put a hefty price of 10000 coins on it. You can kill him using range, magic or a halberd. Afterwards, cast Telekentic Grab on the map piece he drops and head over to the next piece.

The Oracle

Go to the Ice Mountain, north of the Dwarven Mine and speak to the Oracle who is located right on the summit. They will tell you a riddle about items and a "door down below". Making sure you have the four items needed (the Unfired bowl, the silk, the Wizard's mindbomb and the Lobster pot), go to the Dwarven Mine. In the north part, there is an oddly sealed door. Use the four items on the door (right-click the Wizards Mindbomb, as left clicking will drink it) and the door will open. Inside is a chest, which contains the next map piece.

Melzar the Mad

It is recommended you bring food and armour, as there is a lesser demon you must kll.

You should have obtained the key from the Guildmaster already, but if not, then ask him for it, and he will pass it over to you. Once you've done that, go to Melzar's Maze, north of Rimmington and west of Port Sarim. Use the key on the door and enter. In here, you will have to get the correct key from different monsters and use them on the correct door to advance. here is the guide for the monsters you need to kill and the doors you need to take:
For the first room, kill the rats that have long tails, and when they drop the key, use it on the north-west door.
For the second room, kill the ghost that has a hood on. It can be quite hard to tell, but they'll drop a key eventually. go through the middle door.
The skeleton that needs to be killed for the key has a round shield. When you have it, open the south west door.
Kill either of the zombies and they will drop a blue key. Open the blue door and advance

Now you have to kill Melzar himself. He is not very strong, so most levels will be able to kill him with no problem.

Finally, you come to the Lesser Demon. It is recommended you either have a rune weapon or Silverlight, as both will be able to hit relatively high. If you have trouble, you can always get a friend to come along with you and hurt the demon, and you can finish it off for the key. head through the door with the key dropped by the demon, and open the chest. You will obtain the final map piece.

The boat

Go to Port Sarim, making sure you have the 3 planks, the hammer and 90 steel nails. Ask Klarense if you can buy the ship, and he will accept for 2000 coins. Once you have the ship, go down to the lower level, and fix up the holes in the ship. Once you have a captain, you'll be ready to go! Head over to Draynor and talk to Ned. Talk to him about captaining yout ship and he'll accept, talking about reliving his good old days. You're ready to go now. Make sure you have good armour and good food (sharks would be best) and head back to the docks.

The final fight!

Board the ship and set off. On the way, Cabin Boy Jenkins will be burnt to death be Elvarg. You will arrive at Crandor after the boat crashes into the side of the island. Climb all the way to the top of the volcano and go down the stairs at the top. Run past all the enemies until you reach a wall. Climb over that (making sure your anti-dragon shield is equipped) and enter Elvarg's lair.

Elvarg has 80 HP, so will need a bit of a beating before she dies, but if you have a lot of food, you shouldn't have too many problems.

Once you have killed her, take the head back to Oziach. Quest complete!

The Ultimate RS2006 Guide To The Ernest The Chicken Quest.

When was it released?: 21 January 2001

Is it members only?: No

Where can i start it?: Veronica outside Draynor Manor

How long should it take?: Around 10 minutes

Requirements:
The ability to fight or run away from a level 22 skeleton
A spade

Starting off

Talk to Veronica outside Draynor Manor. She tells you that her fiancé, Ernest, went inside the Manor to find directions, but has not come back yet. Enter the Manor and go all the way up until you find Professor Oddenstein. He tells you that Ernest has been turned into a chicken, and to change him back, you'll need to find the parts needed to fix the Professors machine. You will need to find a pressure gauge, an oil can and a rubber tube.

Pressure Gauge

For this, you will need fish food and poison, both of which can be found inside the Manor. The poison is in the kitchen on the fround floor, and the fish food is on the first floor, in a blue box. Once you have both the items, combine them to make poisoned fish food.

Go to the bottom left of the grounds. Watch out for trees that attack you! Use the poisoned fish food on the fountain to kill any piranha inside. If you reach inside the fountain before poisoning it, you will be attacked and lose 1HP. Grab the gauge from the fountain, and head back inside.

Once she's made them, mix them together ti make an orange dye! Then use it on your goblin mail and take it back to the Generals. Keep 1 goblin mail un-dyed. So give them the blue goblin mail and once again Grubfoot the Super Model will try it on. And what a surpise! The generals don't like the blue one. The RS2006 Guide To The Grand Tree Quest.
Requirements: Tree Gnome Village (above), 25 Agility, Ability to Defeat a level 172 Black Demon.
Required Items: 1k coins.
Difficulty: Hard
Length: Long

Starting Out
To start off, head to King Narnode Shareen located in the Grand Tree. The Grand Tree is in the Tree Gnome Stronghold to the Northen Area of it. Here's a picture. It's just northwest of Ardougne. If you can't teleport to Ardougne, try using the spirit tree to get to the Tree Gnome Village, then walk north. Energy potions would help here. After you've talked to him he'll give you a translation book, along with a bark sample. Go to Yanille and head west. Go to the house on the island next to it. Watch out for Level 44 Jungle Spiders. Talk to Hazelmere and hand over the Bark Sample. In addition, he will speak in a different language, seeing this you will ask him to write it down. He'll give you some Notes. Use your translation book and you'll see that he said in his notes: A man came to me with the King seal. I gave human Daconia rocks and Daconia rocks will kill trees! Go back to the King and tell him what Hazelmere said. He'll be horrified at what you just told him.
Glough.
Go and talk to Glough who is southeast of The Grand Tree itself. He'll be up in a small tree. Just talk to him and he'll say that he'll take care of it. That's nice isn't it! Now head back to the tree and talk to the King who will now say that they have a prisoner being held on the top floor. So just keep climbing, climbing, climbing. When you get to the top talk to Charlie (Hey! that's my name!) He'll say that you should go and search Glough's house as he is suspisious of him. So head on over to Glough's house and search his cupboard. You'll get Glough's journal. Go on, take a read! You know you want to! After you've had a look in Glough's personal diary, report theese findings to the King, but the King dosn't believe that someone as nice as Glough would do such a thing! Go and talk to Glough and that cheeky old gnome will arrest you! Now you'll be in jail! Talk to Charlie and he'll reveal Glough's devious plan! Glough has been building a fleet of ships! He'll also give you a password. You may want to write this down. Ka-Lu-Min. Now the king will turn up and release you. Bring a teleport of any type. Then go to the grand tree top floor and talk to the Gnome Glider. Travel to Karamja. Unfortunatly, you will crash! You'll now be surrounded by level 53 Jogres! Theese will attack you if you are a low combat level! Run just east and try to open the gate. A shipworker will ask you to stop. He'll ask you for the password that you recorded earlier. Now, he'll ask you some questions. Answers:
How are Glough and his wife? - Sadly, his wife is no longer with us.
What's his favorite food? - Pickled Hole Worms. (Eew!)
What's the name of Glough's girlfriend? - Anitia
Head back to the Grand Tree, but strangly the guards won't let you in. Talk to Femi and pay her 1000gp. She'll sneak you through the gate with her cart whilst you hide in the boxes. Go to Charlie in the jail cell and he'll mention Anita. He thinks she'll be able to help you out. Go northwest of the Grand Tree by the swamps and talk to her. She'll kindly give you a key. Use it on Glough's treehouse and use it on his chest. You'll find some notes with plans to take over RS2006! That crazy old gnome! Go back over to the King who is still not believing Glough would do such a thing! He says he'll say that some guards found some sticks spelling out the abstract word, t U Z O. Stock up on food, armour and potions. Whatever style you use is up to you. Now your ready to fight, go to Glough's house and go downstairs. Glough will pop up and introduce his "little pet" which is really a level 172 Black Demon! Demons are weakest against magic attacks. Note: There is a safe spot for mage and range. Now you've defeated the demon go and talk to the King and that stubborn old man will still not fully trust you! He'll send some guards and they return and say it's true. He'll apoligize for all the times he didn't believe you. Now he'll ask you to find Doconia rock, hidden in the roots of the grand tree. Search them all and you'll find it sooner or later. (hopefully sooner) Return it to the king and... Congratulations! Quest Complete!
Rewards: 5 Quest points. 7900 agility experience. 18400 attack expirence. 2150 Magic experience.

Difficulty: Hard
Length: Long

Starting of.
To start of head just south of Lumbridge Castle or north of the Wizards' Tower. Here's a picture to help.
Talk to the Warrior who is there with the Mage and Ranger. He knows something you need to know, so to get him to tell you, say this.
Do you know any good adventures I can go on?
I don't think you'vr found a good adventure at all!
Who's Zanaris?
If it's hidden how are you planning to find it?
Well, it looks to me as if you don't know either, seeming as your just sitting round here!
Finally, he cracks.
He tells you there's a leprachaun in a tree near by...the things we do for a dragon longsword! A little bit to the north west, only a few paces is a tree with a "Chop" option and not "Chop Down Tree" Look for that one and try to chop it down. When you do that a leprachaun will drop out, his name is Shamus. Say that you've been in the shed many times. Then he'll start talking about a Dramen Staff.
A Short Trip To Entrana.
The island of Entrana. Peaceful and ardored by the monks of Saradomin. The monks have a rule though, no weapons or armour on the island. However, this is where the level 101 Tree spirit is. Don't worry, where there's a will there's a way. Now comes a choice; if your going to use Mage follow the first guide, if not use the second one. It's probably wise to choose the one your best at, if there pretty much even just use what you think you can hit highest with.
Magic.
Wizard hat and robes (not mystic)
Amulet of Glory.
Teleport Runes.
Good Food, Lobsters+
Runes for the best spell you can cast.
A God book from Horror from the deep (coming soon)

After your geared up, head to Port Sarim. Talk to the monks at the front of the docks. They'll give you a check to see your not carrying anything wrong, and off you go to Entrana. To get to the Dungeon can be a little disorientating at first, but if you need help, use this picture.
There's a monk there waiting there and will warn you not to go down. Go down anyway. Once your down there make your bows and arrows if your using range. Kill the zombies down there an they will drop a bronze axe. Keep going down the tunnel and run down the greater demons. Then head to the south and you should see a Dramen tree. Go to it and this is where you will fight the tree spirit. Fear not adventurer for there is a safe spot! when your ready to fight, try and chop the tree. Hide behind the mushrooms to do this. (Editors note: I couldn't find any pictures of this, so I looked on Sal's realm.)
Now you've killed it, chop the tree and you'll obtain so Dramen branches. Teleport to Lumbridge and go to the shed in the swamp.
When you get there, use your knife with the Dramen branches to create a Dramen staff. Equip your staff and enter the shed. You'll be teleported to the wonderful world of Zanris! Congratulations! Quest Complete!

A Little Bit Random.
Sometimes, you'll turn into a chicken for a few seconds, but then re-morph back to your own self again.

RS2006 Ultimate Guide Empty Re: RS2006 Ultimate Guide

The RS2006 Ultimate Guide to Merlins' Crystal.

Requirements: Must be able to defeat a level 39 knight.
Required Items: Bat bones, Tinderbox, 1 Loaf of Bread.
Recommended: Armour and weapon. 2 loaves of bread incase you eat one.
Length: Medium
Difficulty: Medium

Starting off.
To start the quest teleport to Camelot (45 Magic) or get someone to teleother you there (90 Magic). Head into the big castle and talk to King Arthur. Talk to him and say you'd like to join the round table (become a knight) and he'll say you need to prove yourself by doing a quest. He will say that Merlin is trapped. Someone captured him inside a crystal. He is inside the castle but he cannot break out. Arthur will then suggest asking the other knights for details.
Information.
Arthur will suggest you go and ask some other knights for information on Merlins' story. In the same room as Arthur is Sir Gawain. Talk to him and ask him how Merlin got trapped inside the crystal. He says that Morgan would know but he is in the Keep La Faye which cannot be entered. Now head upstairs and talk to Sir Lancealot. Talk to him and he will say the only way to get in is by sea.
Getting Inside the Keep.
Head just south to Catherby and talk to Arhein who is on the docks opposite the bank. If you talk to him you'll find out he sails across the sea and delivers goods to the Keep. However, he is not willing to give you a ride. Go to the bank and get your combat supplies to kill a level 39. Inbetween the candle shop and bank there is a crate. Go inside it. The workers will be talking alot at this point whilst you are inside the crate. So just keep click "Click to continue" and it will finish soon enough.
The Heist
You are now deposited on the dock of the Keep. Open the double doors and enter. Go up the stairs until you get to the top. There will be Sir Mordred, waiting for you. Kill him. He will get to very low health and Morgan will appear and offer you information on how to free Merlin, in exchange for her sons life.
A bit of bad luck.
Head back to Catherby and go to the Candle Shop next to the bank. After some persuasion the candle maker will make you a black candle if you bring him a bucket of wax. He is very hesistent at the idea because black candles are very bad luck to make. On the table next to him is some Insect Repellent. Head South-West towards the collection of yew trees until you find some white boxes. Theese have bee's inside them. Use the insect repellent on it then use your bucket on it. You will now have a full bucket of wax. Take this back to the candle shop and despite its bad luck the candlemaker will make you a black candle.
Excalibur.
The holy sword. To get this head to The Lady Of The Lake. She is in the north part of Taverly. Here's a picture to help. (wikipedia) She said she will give you exalibur but she has to test you first. She wants you to buy her some jewellery. Typical woman. So head south to Port Sarim and approach the jewellry store, but before you enter a begger appears and says he needs food to feed his family. Give him your loaf of bread. The beggar will then turn into The Lady Of The Lake! She tells you that you passed the test. However, she keeps you loaf of bread. Maybe she really was hungry .
Say the magic words.
Now, you need to head to the Zamorakian altar in Varrock. South-east corner of Varrock. Right click the chaos altar and click check. Some "magic words" will now appear. Snarthon Candtrick Termanto. It might be a good idea to write these down.
Saving The Day!
Head back to Camelot with your tinderbox, and head inside the castle grounds. Do not enter the castle itself but go to the north-east of the gardens. There will be an 8-collums with a star in the middle. Now you should light your black candle and drop the bat bones. (dont bury) Now a ghost will appear and you will have to say the magic words. If you say it correctly he will obey you. If you do not he is level 92 and will hit well into the 10's-20's. Now ask him to free merlin. Head to the south-east corner of the castle and go up the stairs. You will find merlin inside a crystal. Use the smash option with the Excalibur in your inventory. Head downstairs and talk to King Arthur. And... Congratulations! Quest complete!

Rewards: The Holy Excalibur. 6 Quest Points.

Excalibur.
The Excalibur gives you +10 to your defence stat temporarily, as it's special attack. On special attack the player will automatically. raise his sword and shout "For Camelot!" Whilst a blue "Portal" appears beneath his/her feat.

RS2006 Ultimate Guide Empty Re: RS2006 Ultimate Guide

Post by Cwboy1 Tue May 01, 2012 3:39 pm

The Ultimate RS2006 Guide To Monkey Madness.

Requirements: The Grand Tree, Tree Gnome Village. Ability to defeat a level 192 Jungle Demon.
Highly Recommended: 10+ Super Anti-poison, High Healing Food (shark), Emergency Teleports. 43 Prayer.
Required Items: 1 Ball of wool, 1 Monkey Bones.
Difficulty: Extremly Hard - Master Quest.
Length: Very Long.

Starting off.
So here you are, about to start a master quest! When your ready for this challenge head over to The Grand Tree and talk to King Nardone Shareen. (Use the spirit tree) He'll tell you he's sent the 10th Squad to destroy Glough's fleet of ships that he wants to use to takeover RS2006! Strangly they havn't returned. You offer to help out and he'll give you a gnome royal seal.
Now that you've started the quest head up all the ladders to the top of the tree and use the gnome glider to Karamja. (Gandius) Head north till you find a fence and follow it north until you find a gate. You won't be able to go through unless you show the ship yard worker your royal seal.
Once you have entered head south straight away until you find a small hut. Inside here you will find G.L.O Caranock. Talk to him and he will say that the 10th Sqaud never even arrived. After that, head back down to the Gnome Glider and travel back to the Grand Tree. Talk to the king and tell him what G.L.O said to you. After the king is finished speaking to you, head up the first ladder to the second floor of the tree and speak to Daero.
He'll hand you a blindfold that you put on and the screen will black out for a second. You'll appear in a hanger with several gnome gliders in it. Inside there will be a gnome called Waydar. Daero and Waydar will have a short conversation, after that talk to Daero. He tells you that you need to wait for some thing called "reinitialization", what ever that means. Search the nearby crates and then go to the panel. This bit is a little tricky if your not great at puzzles. You'll have a picture of the finished puzzle, but even so this is difficult. The best method is to do it row by row, starting at the top. If you really can't do it and have some spare money you can find Glough the evil in his house and pay him 200,000gp and he'll do it for you.
Now that you've finished it, or bribed your way out of it, you can talk to Daero and/or Waydar and Waydar will then say you can leave for Ape Atoll. First of all go and get all your gear and equipment. Here are some items that are recommended. Were going to call it the Ape Atoll survival gear. Sal's Realm recommends this. I personally recommend Full initiate, Spotted cape, Boot's of Lighness, Amulet of Glory, Saradomin Magic Book, Dragon Dagger P++, ring of life. It is much like Sal's realm's version. Note: I did not copy from Sal's realm. It's a referance for pictures. It is advised to have an inventory something like this.
Although, it would probably be better to use sharks or manta rays. Head back to the hanger and talk to Waydar. You'll set of to Ape Atoll. On your way you'll take a detor to Crash Island. Don't worry it's not dangerous yet, as long as you don't go too far to the east of the island as they are some snakes. Talk to Lumdo and you'll row no a small boat to Ape Atoll. Warning: All monsters all over the island are posionous. You'll be on the east side of Ape Atoll so head to the west and make sure to keep to the south side. Here's a picture to help you out.
Warning: There is a small scorpian's all around Ape Atoll. Theese are deadly! They can hit up to a 15 through prayer. As soon as you see the two hills approching you from either side. Slap on your protect from missiles. You will now be piled by monkey archers, there is nothing you can do to stop this. So just put on protect from missile and hope for the best. Theese will poison you as well and you'll wake up in a room with three cells in it. One of them contains you. There will be two gorilla guards in the cell as well that will hit a 10 on you and you'll be KO'd back into your cell. If you are less than 1 space away from the bars he will punch you anyway, so be careful. To get out of the cell, keep trying to pick the lock. If you fail this will hit damage on you. As you get out the cell run to the west and stand there. Warning: There is a level 2 spider that will poison you big time. Kill this and wait for the guard to go to the north room where they are "changing shifts". Whilst they are in there run north and go behind the fence.
Warning: There is a level 14 high hitting, poisonous scorpian. Now you have to find Karam, he's disguised in the grass so keep looking. Note: He will wander a bit to the east very often. After you've talked to him, head to the temple with the altar symbol on it. Be careful, there are ninja monkey's that will range you and knock you out + poison you. So keep trying to find a safe spot. Rule: Go around the village not through it. When you get there talk to Garkor who need you to find three of his men. To do this you need a disguise. For this you need to speak to Zooknock. Now this is not going to be some ordinary Prince Ali Rescue disguise! It is going to transform you into an ape. With this disguise nothing on Ape Atoll will attack you. It is going to be hard to obtain though. For this disguise your going to need to see a Gnome Mage. Before you can see the mage your going to need a few things.
The Mould.
There is a depot to the west, next to the scimitar stall. The best way to do this is to get hit by the archer monkeys, appear in the jail cell and go around the city not through it. Once you enter the in back door it is important not to leave the shaded area around the edge or the Ninja monkeys will "KO" you and you'll be back in cell, poisoned and hurt. In the most northwest corner search the crate and you will have the option to go down there. Click yes. You will be hurt because you will fall. Then go to the Northeast corner and search the crates to find a "M'Amulet Mould".
The Dentures.
Head to the top again using the rope and go to the east side. Search the stack of crates with two of them. After you find them you'll get some monkey dentures.
The Gnome Mage.
Here comes without a doubt the most dangerous part of the quest. From personal experience this is incompletable without 43 prayer. So teleport to Al-Kharid with either your ring of dueling or amulet of glory. Go and stock up with supplies and gear. Use the gome glider to travel to the grand tree and go from there with the usal routine. Now that your at Ape Atoll your going to do something slightly diffrent. Follow this map and you'll be fine.
You must bring: Monkey Dentures. M'Amulet Mould. Gold Bar.
Recommended items: Lobster or better. 43 Prayer. Prayer potions. Boot's of lightness and spotted/spottier cape. Energy potions. Super Antipoisons. Full Initiate/Prolystete armour. Emergency Teleport. Inside this cave is rated one of the most dangerous places in Gielinor. Here you will encounter: Level 99 Zombie Apes. Level 142 Undead Skeltons. It is multi-way and you will be piled continuosly. Your only instructions are to run throught the maze that is the cave. Try to avoid the five dots on the floor which are spikes dealing 9 damage, and poisoning you. If you get lost your best method is to telport, or if you think you have enough supllies, take another route. When you get to the end of the maze, you will find a gnome mage called Zooknock. Talk to him and give him your dentures, gold bar and M'Amulet Mould. He'll give you back an enchanted gold bar and your equipment. Now teleport to Al-Kharid stock up on supplies and head back to Ape Atoll. Use your normal method and go to the long grass. Head inside the big temple and use the dentures and mould and go down the trap doors. Remeber to slap on protect from melee as theese gorilla guads will hit 15+ on you and you cant walk through them. Go down the trapdoor and use your equipment on the firewall. Use the ball of wool on it to make the amulet and then wear it. So you can now speak ape.
GreeGree.
Take your ball of wool and amulet etc. to Ape Atoll and be captured as usual. Now you need to find a cute little monkey child. Go around the village to the Banana tree's to the west and head to the monkey child. Go through the building next to the tree's and go down the "alley" sort of thing to the west side of the building. There will be a monkey aunt and if she catches you she will call the guards! So when she walks south run over to the monkey child and talk to him. He'll tell you he has a new toy. You ask to have it but like a msart little kid he wants something in return! So pick 10 bananas and give them to him. He wants 20 but because he can't count you can basiclly just scam him. He'll give you his "toy" which is a monkey talisman. Now you need your monkey bones that must be from karamja. Now bring both the talisman and bones to the mage through cave like last time. And he'll hand you a monkey greegree! Now head back to Ape Atoll and Equip both the amulet and greegree when on Ape Atoll. You'll transform into a monkey! Nothing on Ape Atoll will attack you now. So head to the gates where the guards will let you through. Go to the General who is in the building south of the temple. He says he wants an alliance between to species of monkeys. Talk to the Elder Guard but he will say that you need "Kruk's" permission to enter. Go to the bridge west of the gate and go up the ladder. Cross the bridge and you'll find him. Talk to him and he will take you to the Head Monkey. He wants you to free a monkey that was captured and is now in captvivity. It just so happens this monkey is in Ardougne Zoo. Go to the zoo and turn into the monkey minder and he'll shove you into the cage. Talk to one of the monkeys and after a bit of talking he'll climb into your backpack. Now it is very important that you Walk to the Grand Tree from Ardougne. You cant teleport or log out or you'll loose the monkey. Take it back to the Sergeant and he'll give you a 10th Squad Sigil. Don't equip this unless your ready to fight the demon. So go stock up for the big fight. Bring double the amount of prayer potions you will usally bring. Ask the store owner if you can work there, and he will say yes. Enter the room behind him and look through the crates. Eventually you'll find the crate with the rum in it.
